KTUU Channel 2 reporter Jason Lamb recently won one of several top honors a tv station can achieve: a National Edward R. Murrow Award. Lamb won inside the category of Small Market Television Writing. Lamb was originally up against stations in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana for the regional competition. After winning within this category he moved in to the national competition and won again.

Nils Warnock is Audubon Alaska's new state director. He'll lead every one of Audubon's programs and initiatives associated with Alaska. Nils includes a Ph.D in ecology through the University of California at Davis and North park State University. Recently, he would be a wildlife specialist to the Oiled Wildlife Care Network at the University of California, Davis. Before that, he served as co-director with the Wetlands Ecology Division at PRBO Conservation Science from 1998 to 2008,Canada Goose. Nils has studied shorebirds and waterfowl over the state, in the North Slope to the Seward Peninsula to the Yukon-Kuskokwim and Copper River deltas.
